Ranking the Top 50 Names in College Baseball in 2020

For the third straight year, Baseball America is proud to put out a list of the 50 best names in college baseball, and for the third straight year, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s Itchy Burts tops the list.

Also back near the top of the list are Zacchaeus Raspberry of Presbyterian and Zebulon Vermillion of Arkansas, who also came in at Nos. 2 and 3 a year ago.

It’s important to be clear about what this list is and what this list isn’t. Talent, stats and prospect status have no bearing whatsoever. Everyone from All-Americans to little-used role players are represented. Rather, this list simply aims to present the 50 best names in college baseball.
