DriveLine Baseball

One of the more innovation training programs available today for the baseball athlete is from Driveline Baseball, out of Kent, WA. Developed by Kyle Boddy, The Driveline program was created after Boddy tested and refined a pitching drills program that he countlessly refined to help pitcher's throw without pain. Driveline counts some 15 big-leaguers and as many as 150 more minor leaguers among his clients.

We develop the total baseball athlete.” Trevor Bauer of the Cleveland Indians, a Driveline Athlete, has helped pioneer the use of technology and data in pitching. Technology such as PITCHf/x (pitch tracking) data and Rapsodo (radar- and camera-driven pitch-data) system has helped bridge analytics into improving athletic performance.

High-speed camera systems, EMG sensors, and spin rate trackers allow a full 360 analysis of the athlete to push the limits of performance. Not only improving performance, Driveline also emphasises keeping the athlete healthy through prepreation and recovery. the program utilzies weighted PlyoCare balls for every day warm-up, throwing training, and recovery, wrist weights for arm mapping, and a mini trampoline for recovery work.
